Criminal Justice Team

The Criminal Justice team is committed to mitigating issues specific to racial disparities, such as the disproportionate rates of juvenile arrests in Gainesville, providing support for the homeless population, and increasing mental health training in Gainesville police departments.

 

Ongoing Projects:

• Est. Spring 2023: Amazon Smile Fundraising for GNV4All Inc.

• Est. Spring 2022: Community ID Drive in partnership with the Human Rights Coalition of Alachua County; aims to make a form of identification more accessible, with the purpose of building trust and cooperation with local services and the Gainesville population
